Uzbekistan national muay thai team earned the first place at the 15th Muay Thai World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
Shahruz Juraev (41 kg), Sarvarbek Shermuhammedov (45 kg), Bahodir Askarjanov (46 kg), Bahromjon Tojiev (32 kg), Kamron Husanov (28 kg) earned gold medals, while Abdurashid Bakhtiyorov (26 kg) and Mavlonbek Jovliev (57 kg) claimed bronze medals in youth level.
In the junior division, Temur Jabborov (75 kg) and Shahriyor Juraev (60 kg) gained gold medals as their compatriots Dilshodbek Khalmirzaev (48 kg) and Boburbek Hakimov (51 kg) were awarded silver medals.
Kobiljon Hojiev (57 kg), Abdulhay Karimov (51 kg), Parvizjon Asrorov (67 kg) and Sardor Juraev finished the tournament with bronze medals.
In men’s divisions, Mironshoh Ubaydullaev (54 kg) won gold, while Shahboz Muysinov (57 kg) claimed silver and Jahongir Inomjonov (60 kg) collected bronze medals.
