Uzbekistan earn U-18 World Deaf Futsal Championships 2017 title

U-18 World Deaf Futsal Championships 2017 was held will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 24 – December 3. The host city had been selected according to Deaf International Football Association official statistics. The choice of this place also underscores the importance of this event for the Kingdom of Thailand and the International Sports Committee of the Deaf (ICSD).

Uzbekistan took part in this competition along with Sweden, Russia, Germany, Thailand, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Indonesia. Uzbekistan struggled with Sweden, Indonesia and Kuwait in Group B and earned a spot in the semi-finals against Russia. Ahead of the final match, the Uzbek defeated the Russian side with a 3-2 victory before they faced Sweden.

In the final match of the U-18 World Deaf Futsal Championships 2017, Uzbekistan gained a 3-2 victory over Sweden on the way to win the championship.
