Uzbekistan Futsal Cup 2016/2017 | Matchday Two | Full Review

An interesting phase of the group stage is forthcoming in Uzbekistan Futsal Cup 2016/2017 where all the teams used two chances and only one left to get the ticket of quarterfinals.

On Thursday, all four matches of match-day two were witnessed at Uzbekistan Sports Complex.

Group A

Lokomotiv futsal team is continuing as a loser of all the tournaments where it is getting more goals in both Uzbekistan Futsal League and Cup matches. The team was also beaten in the fixture two of Uzbekistan Futsal Cup as the first one. Metallourg who defeated Bunyodkor with a 2-1 score did not give any chance to Lokomotiv and eliminated in a score of 7-2. After two successful games to Metallourg was qualified for the quarterfinals.

Bunyodkor and UzDTV faced off the in the second match of Group A. It was and interesting match for the spectators who came to the Uzbekistan Sports Complex with 8 goals where UzDTV tried to comeback after losing 4 goals. Bunyodkor players showed their best performance in the first period and scored 4 goals without any reply. Eight minutes to complete the game, UzDTV began to its storms to equalize the score but they didn’t have enough time to demonstrate come-backing style.

Group B

In Group B, all the matches certainly become the fights where all the matches ended up with a draw or one-goal-advantage wins. In match-day two, Uzbekistan Futsal League leader, Dustlik-AIN achieved its first victory in Uzbekistan Futsal Cup after they signed into the draw with Maksam-Chirchik in the first match-day. The second game was also difficult for Dustlik-AIN as UzSQB tried to prevent them to take the lead. But, a thrilling match finished with a winning result of Dustlik-AIN.

In the final game of the day, Maksam-Chirchik and Kogon played for three matches but took only point each. Both teams had to play under the pressure of probability to be deprived quarterfinals. Even so late goals didn’t both teams to get the advantage in the match.
