Uzbekistan to earn a spot in the AFC Futsal Championship 2018

Uzbekistan earned a spot in the AFC Futsal Championship 2018 after they claimed a 4-2 win over Turkmenistan at the Pour Sharifi Futsal Hall.

Skipper Ilhomjon Hamroev put Uzbekistan ahead after 12 minutes to give them a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Uzbekistan picked up the pace, and Artur Yunosov in the 21st minute, Farkhod Abdumavlyanov (24th) and Davron Choriev (27th) gave them a 4-0 lead.

However, Sahetmyrat Basimow's side - who lost 5-3 to Kyrgyz Republic in their opening match - pulled two back with the goals coming from Beredov 10 minutes later and Mulkaman Annaguliyev two minutes from time, but it was not enough as Uzbekistan held on to win 4-2.
