Uzbekistan to escape from a defeat in the M150 Cup 2017

Uzbekistan under-23s national football team started their campaign with a draw in the international tournament M150 Cup 2017 in Buriram, Thailand on Monday.

The White Wolves faced Myanmar in the initial match of the competition as they escaped from a defeat with a stoppage-time goal from Abdukholikov.

U23 Myanmar opened the scoring through Si Thu Aung, who made a clever move from his teammate, slicing off the defenders, before slipping past Dilshod Hamroev with a corner kick in the 17th minute of the game.

Before the close of the first half, the referee showed the red card directly to Uzbekistan’s Khojiakbar Alijonov after he had stepped straight into Myanmar's Naing Oo belly.

With an advantage of having more players, U23 Myanmar took the ball possession and created opportunities as they doubled the lead in 74 minutes. Lwin Moe Aung increased the gap for Myanmar U23 using the defensive mistake of the Central Asian team.

However, Southeast Asian side hold the victory in the hand in just the last 6 minutes, but Bobir Abdikholikov and especially the touchdown of 11 meters on the striker Zabikhillo Urunboev made a unbelievable comeback in the last seconds of the match to help U23 Uzbekistan has a precious point.
