Uzbekistan's seven boxers reach final stage at the Indian Open International Boxing Tournament

Uzbekistan’s seven boxers reached the final bouts at the Indian Open International Boxing Tournament in New Delhi.

Ahead of the World Series of Boxing, the Uzbeks are recording good results in their preparation tournament for the upcoming season.

In the semis, Uzbekistan’s Hudoynazar Fayzov eliminated Marvin Tabamo at the Flyweight as his compatriot Abdulhay Shorakhmetov stunned host team member Etash Khan at the Bantamweight.

At the Light Welterweight, Ikboljon Kholdorov defeated Indian Diraj and Bobo-Usmon Boturov won Sing Negi of India at the Welterweight.

Isroil Madrimov, Sanjar Tursunov and Bakhodir Jalolov also advanced to the final stage in their weight classes at the Indian Open International Boxing Tournament.
