Uzbekistan's Shohjahon Ergashev squares off in the next January

The unbeaten Uzbek boxer Shohjahon Ergashev will square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on January 12, 2018.

Opponent boxer’s name will be announced these days, informs Shohjahon Ergashev in the interview he gave to Boxing Talk’s reporter G. Leon after he kept his perfect knockout record intact by stopping Marquis Hawthorne in the second round of a welterweight bout scheduled for six rounds in the first bout of the nine-fight card.

GL: Now that you've gotten your US debut out of the way, what are some of your immediate goals for 2018?

SE: "I believe I am going to fight January 12th on ShoBox.  I am going home to rest for two weeks and then it will be back to training camp in Detroit.  I can’t wait to be on TV."
