Abdumalik Salimov earns the first medal for Uzbekistan in the World Pencak Silat Championship

Uzbekistan’s athletes participated in the 18th edition of the World Pencak Silat Championship at the OCBC Arena, Singapore Sports Hub on December 13-16.

Abdumalik Salimov was also named as the Best Athlete of the 18th World Pencak Silat Championship. Uzbekistan’s another athlete Ayub Abdullaev claimed a bronze medal.

In the medal table, Uzbekistan took the 5th place as they received the Best Team of the 18th World Pencak Silat Championship award.
