Bakhodirova and Maslenkova to play in the quarterfinals of ITF Junior G 5 "Uralsk Open"

Uzbekistan’s tennis players, Laylo BAKHODIROVA and Milana MASLENKOVA beat their opponents in the second round of ITF Junior G 5 "Uralsk Open" in Uralsk city, Kazakhstan.

Laylo BAKHODIROVA struggled with Russia’s Eva GARKUSHA in two sets and won both sets with a score 6-4, 6-3. The second-seeded player will play against another Russia’s player, Alena NIKISHINA in the quarterfinal of ITF Junior G 5 "Uralsk Open".

Milana MASLENKOVA demonstrated a low pace game at the beginning of the match against host country’s player, Diana ZHALGASOVA and lost the first set with a score 3-6. However, she came back from behind and managed to win in the next two sets with a score 6-4, 6-1. In quarterfinal of the tournament, MASLENKOVA will play with Russia’s Polina ALTUKHOVA to secure a place in the semifinal.
