Gulbakhor Fayzieva of Uzbekistan earned a gold medal in women's canoe head-to-head big final on Saturday.

She finished the final by a distance, crossing the line 10 seconds in front of challenger Laura Gonczol, while Mexico's Stephanie Rodriguez Guzman took bronze.
