Israel Madrimov stuns Kazakh boxer at the President’s Cup in Astana

Uzbekistan’s amateur boxers continued their winning campaign at the sixth edition of the President’s Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana on Tuesday.

More than 160 boxers from 15 countries including India, China, Russia, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are taking part in this tournament.

Uzbekistan’s Shunkor Abdurasulov advanced to the next stage after he defeated Samatali Toltaev by a split decision win at the Lightweight.

Asian champion Israil Madrimov stunned Talesh from Kazakhstan as he took no chance winning his bout by unanimous decision.
