Oliy Liga. Matchday Twenty | Full Review

Uzbekistan Oliy Liga was resumed with the twentieth matchday games, which were held on September 7-9, after the Asian Qualifiers matches of Uzbekistan national football team.

FC Lokomotiv strengthened their bid for the league title with a 1-0 victory over FC Shurtan while FC Bunyodkor had to share the points as they played a 3-3 draw with FC Kizilkum in Navoi.

FC Obod to continue their unsuccessful campaign

FC Sogdiyona bagged all three points after beating FC Obod 4-2 in the twentieth matchday of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga this evening.

The visitors saw their lead, given to them by Ikhtiyor Toshpulatov’s opening goal seven minutes after kick off, cancelled out when Elbek Ravshanov scored just one minute later, while the sides went to the break with a 1-1 draw.

However, Elbek Ravshanov gave the lead for the hosts in the 5th minute of the second half before Ikhtiyor Toshpulatov added his second putting the sides on the level. Then, Sanjar Rashidov scored twice by ensuring a 4-2 victory for FC Sogdiyona.

FC Kokand-1912  and FC Dinamo have played out a goalless draw

FC Dinamo and FC Kokand-1912 have played out a goalless draw in Thursday's Uzbekistan Oliy Liga encounter at the Dinamo Stadium.

Both sides enjoyed spells of dominance but ultimately cancelled each other out, the visitors lost another important two points, while they are still hoping to be alive in the top three.

FC Bukhara have recorded a 2-1 victory over FC Neftchi

FC Bukhara have recorded a 2-1 victory over FC Neftchi in their Oliy Liga match at the Istiklol Stadium in Fergana.

Ulugbek Bakayev’s side opened the scoring through Vladimir Baenko five minutes to half time. However, FC Neftchi got back on level terms when Muzaffar Muzaffarov stunned the visitors with a long range shot.

The closing stages of the game descended into chaos as Azamat Allaniyazov scored 90 seconds after added-on time was due to finish.

FC Navbahor receive a 2-1 defeat from FC Mash'al

FC Navbahor travelled to Guzar for their Oliy Liga match against FC Mash’al as they received a 2-1 defeat at the Bahrom Vafoev Stadium on Thursday evening.

FC Mash’al took the lead early in the first half through Shakhzod Shaymanov, who converted a goal from the 12-yard spot, before FC Navbahor levelled the scores in the 63rd minute courtesy of a smart finish from Nemanja Jovanovic before the break

Jafar Turaev came up with a winner 14 minutes after the second half kick-off, as the Mash’al recorded their eighth win in the league.

FC Nasaf claim a 1-0 victory over FC Almalyk

FC Nasaf have moved into fourth place in the Oliy Liga table with a 1-0 victory over FC Almalyk in the twentieth matchday on Friday.

Bobir Abdukholikov got the Dragons off to a strong start with the opening goal 15 minutes after kick-off by giving the lead for his side.

In a competitive match, the visitors tried to equalise the scoring, but the only goal from Bobir Abdukholikov proved to be the difference, with his debut goal of the season earning his team an important three points.

FC Lokomotiv welcomed FC Shurtan to the Lokomotiv Stadium in the twentieth matchday of the Uzbekistan Oliy Liga on Friday evening.

Marat Bikmaev's second-half strike proved to be the difference as the Railwaymen registered their successive win by strengthening the bid for the league title.

Artur Gevorkian's late goal gains a point against FC Bunyodkor as the thrilling 3-3 draw was registered in Navoi

FC Bunyodkor faced FC Kizilkum in the twentieth matchday of the Uzbekistan Oliy Liga as they had to share the points in Navoi.

The visitors started impressively and were able to take a 2-0 lead into the break, only for FC Kizilkim to seemingly put themselves in the driving seat with two second-half goals from Otabek Zokirov and Fayzullo Kambarov.

Shokhrukh Gadoev returned the lead for the Swallows six minutes to complete, but Hamid Aktamov's men stole a memorable point at home as Artur Gevorkian registered a 3-3 draw to earn the hosts a late point on the road.

Shota Arveladze's FC Pakhtakor claim a 3-1 victory over FC Metallurg

Shota Arveladze’s FC Pakhtakor claimed the first away victory in their Oliy Liga match against FC Metallurg on Saturday.

Zohid Abdullaev opened the scoring 16 minutes in, before Igor Sergeev put the sides on the level with his equaliser goal two minutes later.

FC Pakhtakor made a comeback when Igor Sergeev rifled home in the first period stoppage time by giving a 2-1 lead for his side at the interval.

Doston Ibrohimov made sure of the win with a late third to ensure a 3-1 victory for the Lions in Bekobod.
