The twenty-second matchweek of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga was held on September 21-22 as the defending champions FC Lokomotiv received the second consequent defeat while Marco Simic ensured a 1-0 victory for FC Pakhtakor at the Lokomotiv Stadium.

The defending champions FC Lokomotiv received the second consequent defeat in Oliy Liga as they lost to FC Pakhtakor in Matchday 22.

After they were stunned by FC Nasaf with a 2-0 lost, they were awarded a 1-0 defeat by Shota Arveladze’s FC Pakhtakor.

Marco Simic headed the visitors in the 83rd minute to earn the Lions a 1-0 win over FC Lokomotiv at the Lokomotiv Stadium on Thursday night.

Rustam Ashurmatov double secured a victory for FC Bunyodkor

FC Bunyodkor beat FC Dinamo 2-0 in their Oliy Liga match at the Samarkand Central Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The five-time champions started the first half with so early opening goal from Rustam Ashurmatov just four minutes after kickoff. Mirjalol Kosimov’s side dominated proceedings in the first half without increasing their lead as they went into the break with a 1-0 scoring.

In the 2nd minute of the second period, Rustam Ashurmatov added a second for the Swallows to settle the contest.

Ruzimboy Ahmedov rescued a point for FC Navbahor 3-3 against FC Shurtan

FC Navbahor were held to a 3-3 draw in their Oliy Liga match against FC Shurtan as they managed to earn a single point Ruzimboy Ahmedov’s late goal on Thursday evening.

The visitors broke the deadlock in the middle of the first period through Oybek Kilichov before Igor Taran put the sides at the level 6 minutes later. Laziz Ubaydullaev gave a swung the match back in FC Shurtan's favour by allowing his side to went to the dressing room with a 2-1 lead.

The hosts improved their bid for a victory via Jasurbek Kholturaev early in the second half, but Giyos Komilov and Ruzimbor Ahmedov said the final words by rescuing a point for FC Navbahor.

FC Bukhara shared the points with FC Mash’al as they played a 1-1 draw at the Bahrom Vafoev Stadium on Friday evening.

It took 62 minutes to break the deadlock, when Shakhzod Shaymanov opened the scoring, before Ivan Nagaev cancelled out the hosts’ lead to leave the two teams on terms.

FC Metallurg stunned FC Kokand-1912 with a 3-0 victory

FC Kokand-1912 slipped down from the top three on the Oliy Liga table as they suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of FC Metallurg, who celebrated their 3-0 victory at home.

Islombek Isokjonov soon stole the spotlight with a stunning strike to give FC Shurtan the lead after fifteen minutes, before Abror Khusinov doubled their advantage in the 38th minute.

Zohid Abdullaev’s stunning goal in the closing stages gave the scoreline a one-sided look.

FC Nasaf shocked FC Obod with a 6-0 victory

FC Nasaf climbed to the second place of the Oliy Liga table after an emphatic 6-0 win over FC Obod in Friday's clash in Tashkent.

Youngster Bobur Abdukholikov showed his brilliant skills against by FC Obod scoring a double, with further strikes from Farrukh Sayfiev, Doniyor Narzullaev, Bahrom Abdurahimov and Serbian Dragan Ceran’s goal completing the rout.

FC Nasaf have now collected 38 points staying in the second place in the league table 7 points behind FC Lokomotiv, who received a 1-0 defeat in this matchweek.

Akram Bakhriddinov's equaliser helped FC Kizilkum earn a single point against FC Almalyk

FC Kizilkum escaped from a defeat via Akram Bakhriddonov’s goal as they played a 2-2 draw with FC Almalyk in Navoi.

Vladislav Kasminin gave an early lead for FC Almalyk as he broke the deadlock just 13 minutes after kick-off.

But the hosts hit back immediately courtesy of Samandar Shodmonov in early minutes of the second period, before Viktor Kumykov’s side were in front just 4 minutes later via Igor Jelic. Only for Akram Bakhriddinov to have the final say and rescue a point for the hosts.

Vadim Abramov's FC Neftchi played out a 1-1 draw with FC Sogdiyona in Fergana

FC Neftchi suffered another disappointing result in Oliy Liga as they were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Sogdiyona at the Istiklol Stadium yesterday evening.

Vadim Abramov's side were in need or a morale-boosting win after an unsuccessful campaign in the second phase of Oliy Liga since July.

FC Sogdiyona were handed an early setback when Azamat Isroilov capitalised on some more weak Chinars defending to put FC Sogdiyona ahead on 10 minutes.

Sherzod Khakimov equalised for the hosts through penalty kick five minutes to complete while FC Neftchi escaped from a defeat in front of the home crowd.
