Saidkarimov struggled with Kai Wehnelt from Germany for the final spot after he beat Shamael Chaudhry of Great Britain in quarterfinals.

In the two-set-long game, Saidkarimov received a 6-0 7-5 defeat from Shamael Chaudhry in the semifinals at the Islamabad Tennis Complex.
