
Shota Arveladze reveals he hasn't received an offer for a vacant head coach position of Uzbekistan
FC Pakhtakor claimed three points as they beat Muborak-based FC Mash’al with a 3-1 victory at the Pakhtakor Stadium this evening.
After an important victory for the Lions, Georgian Shota Arveladze attended in the post-match press conference to talk to the media.
"First of all, I would like to say that FC Mash’al is a strong team, who threated enough during today’s clash", started his speech. "The opponents dominated a good spell of possession and showed a performance designed with a well-organized tactics. As it is shown on the league standings, this team is one of four teams, who conceded the fewest goals."
"The schedule is so difficult, which means that we have to play every four days and it makes our team feel tired. After the fierce battle against the defending champions FC Lokomotiv, we needed for recovery. But, I think we played a good football and earned a victory at home."
The 44-year-old coach discussed the decision of the linesman, who rose his flag and ruled out the goal.
"There was no offside while we opened the scoring, but it was ruled out by the referees. Of course, it affected the game, while it cut the inspiration and motivation. If it was counted, we ensured the victory until the break.
"Conceding a goal in the early minutes of the second period might change the scenario, but it wasn’t. Three perfect and wonderful goals led us to achieve another important victory in the league. I congratulate everyone on today’s win."
