Tashkent Open 2017 gets underway tomorrow

WTA International tennis tournament, Tashkent Open 2017 will take place at the Republican Olympic Reserve School of Tennis on September 25-30.

More than 100 players from nearly 20 countries will struggle for the title of the 19th edition of Tashkent Open.

Former world no 2 Vera Zvonareva (RUS), World No 42 and defending Champion Kristyna Pliskova of Czech Republic, Johanna Larsson (SWE), who won one singles title and eight doubles titles on the WTA tour, Two WTA Tour singles title holder Pauline Parmentier (FRA) take part in this six day-long competition.

Sabina Sharipova, Nigina Abduraimova and Akgul Amanmuradova will represent Uzbekistan in front of the home crowd in Tashkent.
