Uzbekistan Cup. FC Nasaf have secured a spot in quarter-finals by beating FC Pakhtakor

FC Nasaf secured a spot in quarter-finals of Uzbekistan Cup Tuesday evening courtesy of a 1-0 win over FC Pakhtakor in the second leg of 1/8 finals at Guzar Stadium.

The hosts created the best chance of the first half when The Dragons raced through on goal only to be denied by a fine save by Aleksandr Lobanov.

Dragan Ceran squandered other clear chances for the home side in the second half, but they were missed when The Lions’ keeper showed the best performance. However, FC Nasaf managed to break the deadlock as Bahrom Abdurahimov scored a winning goal for Ruzikul Berdiev’s side in the 64th minute of the game.
