
Uzbekistan Judo team started their participation in IJF Paris Grand Slam 2017
The IJF World Judo Tour 2017 launched today with a French super-show as the Paris Grand Slam is the first step on the road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and witnessed the implementation of a host of rules evolution as the sport continues to move forward.
Uzbekistan national Judo team also started their campaign with a participation of Mirzohid Farmonov and Giyosjon Boboev (-73 kg). Mirzohid Farmonov won Royal Rakotoarivony representing Madagascar with two Waza-ari score in Round 1 before lost the game to Frenchman Loic Korval according to the two Shidos.
Also, Uzbekistan’s Giyosjon Boboev gained a victory over Russian Dymtro Raskin with two Shidos in Round 2 and grabbed Spaniard Javier Ramirez with Ippon score before defeating by Korean Republic judoist Changrim An with Waza-ari score in quarter finals.
