Uzbekistan U-16s head coach resigns from his position and the players are being investigated

The head coach of Uzbekistan national under-16s football team, Dilshod Nuraliev resigned from his position after Uzbekistan U-16s failed to qualify for U-16 AFC Championship 2018.

The President of the Uzbekistan Football Federation, Umid Ahmadjonov talked to the media in today’s press-conference that Dilshod Nuraliev resigned from his position the following failure at the U-16 AFC Championship Qualifiers in Saudi Arabia.

“We have received a reassignment letter from Dilshod Nuraliev and we accepted it. Uzbekistan U-16s couldn’t earn a spot at the U-16 AFC Championship 2018 and the main causer is the head coach, Dilshod Nuraliev. We are investigating all the matters and the information about the players, who participated in this qualification tournament in Saudi Arabia.” says the UFF President, Umid Ahmadjonov.
