Uzbekistan U-23 national team end Antalya training camp with a 1-0 defeat to FC Taraz
2018 AFC U-23 Championship champions finished their training sessions in Antalya as they contested with Kazakhstan’s FC Taraz (0-1), Azerbaijan Premier League club FC Keshla (0-0) and Romania Liga 1 side FC Medias (1-3).
However, Ravshan Khaydarov was replaced by Serbian Ljubinko Drulovic, who will lead Uzbekistan U-23 national team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Qualification Round, reports Uzbekistan Football Association on Wednesday.
After the negotiations, the sides signed a 12-month contract, which could be extended for another 6-month period if White Wolves qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The 50-year-old will be assisted by his compatriots Zavisha Miloslavlevic and Neboysa Topalov in Uzbekistan.
