White Wolves’ captain failed to attend a flash interview in the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 match between Australia and Uzbekistan on 21 January 2019.

Akhmedov has been fined for violating Article 34.1 read together with Article 34.2 of the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Regulations.

The fine shall be settled within 30 days from the date that this decision is communicated in accordance with Article 11.3 of the AFC Disciplinary and Ethics Code.

The 33-year-old has been also informed that a repeat violation of this provision may be met with more severe punishment.
