Bekobod's Metallurg team will continue to fill its squad with evasion of former players. Today, metallurgist PFC formalized the contract with the candidate of the national team of Uzbekistan, experienced central defender Abjonjon Otakhanov.

Abbosjon Otakhonov returned to his team after a one-year break. He started his football career in Tashkent's “Pakhtakor” team (2015-2016) and spent the 2017 season in the “Navbahor” team of Namangan. And for 2018-2020 years, he defended the honor of Bekobod's team Metallurg. And last season Abbas spent in another club of Tashkent region – AGMC.

In 2018, Uzbekistan became the champion of Asia in the U-23 team. Also, the champion of Uzbekistan (2015), the finalist of the Super Cup of Uzbekistan (2015, 2016), Abbos Otakhanov, who was involved in the national team of the country, took part in 116 matches within the framework of the championships of Uzbekistan.
