Alexander Krestinin: We did not succeed

Today, in the semifinals of the international friendly tournament "Navruz Cup-2022", the national team of Uzbekistan played against the national team of the neighboring Kyrgyz Republic and won with a score of 3:1.

We didn’t give in to complacency, we just didn’t have the physical strength. This is not a mistake, this is our situation today. On the one hand, the fact that some of our players are not fully ready for the match may have been the reason for the defeat.

We created a number of good situations on the opponent’s side, but we also made mistakes in normal situations. We had to play more confidently. We made a lot of mistakes in the second half and were forced to use excessive force in return.

There was a great atmosphere in the stadium. We haven’t played against such a fan and against such a good level team in a long time.
