Alison Van Uytvanck and Sorana Cirstea to struggle for the title in Tashkent Open WTA Championships final

In the semifinals, Alison Van Uytvanck averted a mid-set crisis to overcome 5th seeded Krystina Pliskova 6-3 7-5, while No.8 seed Sorana Cirstea swept into her second final in the Uzbek capital, dismissing the unseeded Katarina Zavatska 6-0 6-3.

Alison will look to take her 4th WTA Career title of her career and the first one on debut in Tashkent Open. She will be challenged by Romanian Sorana Cirstea who is back in the finals after lifting her first Tashkent Open trophy 11 years ago.
