An 85-minute overtime goal sees HC Humo secure a 2-1 win over HC Toros

Evgeniy Popikhin’s lads welcomed Neftekamsk’s Toros to the Humo Arena as the hosts claimed a 2-1 win on Wednesday.

Tashkent side went to the break with a 1-0 lead after Ivan Yatsenko broke the deadlock in the 17th minute of the first period. However, HC Toros managed to equalize the scoring through Stanislav Gareev just 4 minutes to complete the game.

After a goalless 25-minute overtime, Maksim Kazakov’s golden goal saw the hosts claimed a 2-1 win to level the aggregate score with Toros in six matches.

HC Humo will travel for the last Round of 16 tie against HC Toros will take place in Neftekamsk on Saturday.
