An online meeting was held with the participation of leading experts in the field of sports medicine

The meeting was also attended by prominent sports nutritionists and medical staff of national teams of various age categories.

During the conversation, Ravshan Ermatov noted that the foundation of any team is the academy and children's football, so the physical and psychological state of children should come first.

“We have not paid due attention to this for many years. For the future of football in Uzbekistan, it is necessary to work out a unified medical system for all academies of the country based on the experience of developed foreign countries, so that our children are in no way inferior to their peers from Europe and are physically and mentally prepared for a football career,” Ravshan Ermatov said.

The conference participants paid special attention to complex fortification, physical preparation for competitions and nutrition control in academies.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to create a working group for consultations of medical workers on the ground. The parties also agreed to involve prominent figures in this field and hold regular online seminars together with academies.
