Elmurat Tasmuradov claims his fifth gold medal at the Asian Wrestling Championships

Olympic bronze medalist Elmurat Tasmuradov of Uzbekistan won his fifth gold medal at the Asian Championships.

Tasmuradov demolished Jinseub Song from South Korea in the Greco-Roman 63kg final on the opening day of this year’s continental tournament in New Delhi.

Uzbekistan’s Jasurbek Ortikboev showed an effective combination of stamina and power on the way to final contest, but Pouya Naserpour of Iran cruised past Ortikboev in the 55kg finals with an 8-0 victory.
