For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, a para cyclist became a medalist of the World Championship!

Representatives of our country's national para cycling team, participating in the world championship on road cycling in Zurich (Switzerland), have won an award. Today our compatriot Aziz Atakhujaev won the bronze medal in 11 km time trial race in men's T1 class with the result of 20 minutes 30 seconds.

It should be noted that thanks to this result, Aziz Atakhujaev became the first athlete in the history of Uzbekistan's para cycling to reach the podium of the World Championships.
