Hurshidbek Normatov withdraws from Patrick Cora fight on January 20th

After 11 months break Hurshidbek Normatov (10-0, 3KOs) was scheduled to return to the ring as a headliner fight of the boxing evening, which would be broadcast on January 20 on the channel "Show Time". In this bout, Normatov was confirmed to face undefeated Puerto Rican Patrick Cora (10-0, 7KO)at the event including 4 fights, which was planned to take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, United States.

But Normatov said to Sports.uz that he tested positive for COVID-19 and the bout postponed.

Normatov, 28, was born in Andijan and is currently training in Brooklyn. Normatov defeated Uriel Hernandez by UD in his 10th fight in Canada on January.
