Israil Madrimov, who faced Michel Soro in the WBA eliminator fight in London, Great Britain, returned to Uzbekistan. A welcoming ceremony was held at Tashkent International Airport. 

In addition, Serbian legionnaires Dragan Ceran and Marko Stanojevic of the Uzbekistan Super League returned to Uzbekistan to prepare for the second round matches.
