Khorezm judoists are the best in the republic

Following the results of the three-day uncompromising competitions among men and women, the judoists of the Khorezm region took first place in the team competition. They have won a total of 3 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze awards.

Surkhandarya martial artists also rose to the highest step of the podium in 3 weight categories. But the number of silver medals turned out to be less than that of the Khorezmians - 3. And the number of bronze is exactly the same - 6. The three leaders were closed by representatives of the tatami hosts with 1 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals.

It is worth noting that 11 of the 14 participating teams won at least one award. This, in turn, suggests that judo is developing in the regions and gaining popularity among young people.
