Konya-2021. The number of medals is growing

The Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya are becoming more and more intense.

In the afternoon, our representatives continued to collect medals:

Fencing. Mohammad Yusuf Asranov defeated Martino Minto from Turkey in the final.

Swimming. Alexey Tarasenko, competing in freestyle competitions, won a silver medal in the program at a distance of 200 meters. Eldorbek Usmanov won a bronze medal in the 100-meter butterfly.

Our swimmers brought another medal to the account of our delegation. In the 4x200-meter freestyle relay, the quartet of Afsona Niyazova, Alyona Vasilyeva, Sitora Odilova and Ulyana Nizamutdinova won the bronze medal with a score of 9:09.67.

Weightlifting. Another weightlifter participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games has risen to the podium. In the weight category -81 kg Rigina Adashbayev won a bronze medal in the hoop exercise, having conquered 99 kg of stone.

Rhythmic gymnastics.

Another great news from our gymnasts participating in the group exercise. Our girls, who showed their programs on 3 stripes and 2 balls, were awarded a silver medal.
