Lokomotiv secure a 2-1 victory over Andijan in Tashkent

Andrey Fyodorov’s side welcomed Andijan to the Lokomotiv Stadium in their season opener match on Friday. Kirill Pogrebnyak gave an early lead for the hosts in his debut match for the Railwaymen just 9 minutes after the kick-off.

In the 30th minute, he celebrated his double as Lokomotiv went to the break with a 2-0 lead. An 87-minute goal from Jamshid Hasanov halved the deficit for the visitors, but Lokomotiv ended the match with a 2-1 win claiming three points at home.
