Lokomotiv's croatian striker: "I want to help the team to return to the main league, I need time to adapt, I prefer fast and vertical football" (interview)

The season has come to an end in Uzbekistan and the teams are developing plans to prepare for the new season. Also, leading players are leaving some clubs.

In addition, the teams are adding a number of players to their team. In particular, Tashkent's "Lokomotiv" club, which will start the new season in the Pro-League, added Croatian striker Sime Zuzul from the Singaporean club.

- First of all, why did you choose "Lokomotiv"?

- Well, I got a call from one of the agents from Croatia if I'm interested in coming to the "Lokomotiv". He told me great things about the league and the club. I'm always up for new challenges so I did not hesitate to accept.

- What is your ambitions being a member of this club?

- My ambitions are to help the club get back to the first league where it belongs by scoring as much as possible and playing my best football.

- Before coming there what did you know about Uzbekistan and its football?

- To be honest, I did not know much about the league before this call.

- There was nearly no any footballers from Croatia in Uzbekistan. Isn't it difficult for you?

- I will probably need some adjusting time. We will try to keep it as short as possible. So I can give my maximum to the club.

- Is there any offers except "Lokomotiv"?

- Yes...I've had 2-3 more offers but I've seen good project and I didn't think too much then signed for "Lokomotiv".

- Which football style do you like to play?

- I like fast and vertical football. For example, "Liverpool" under Jurgen Klopp.

- You love one footballer's game and his name is...

- I always loved Mandžukić's style. I appreciate how much he put in every match.
