London’s Fighting Academy Sambo Team Trains in Tashkent

Members of the Fighting Academy Sambo club from London are currently holding a training camp in Tashkent.

As part of the visit, a friendly tournament was held between the British athletes and the Tashkent youth sambo team. The local team came out on top with a 2:1 victory.

The event was attended by several notable figures, including:

• Olympic medalist and IJF official Armen Bagdasarov
• Fighting Academy president Oleg Sibilev
• President of the Uzbekistan Sambo Association Alisher Alimov
• International tournament champion Ma’ruf Mahmudov

Participants were awarded special trophies, medals, diplomas, and souvenirs in a celebration that brought together veterans, rising athletes, and international sports leaders.
