Slavko Likich opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute, which was cancelled out by goals from Kadamboy Nurmetov and Sardor Eminov before the break.
Samarkand side were denied all three points by a close-range header from Aleksandr Kasyan, though, as they failed to truly trouble opposition keeper Utkir Yusupov in the remainder of the contest.
