Metallurg will host 1 Uzbekistan Cup match in Bekabad

After the stadium in bekobod did not meet the demand for Super League and Proliga club grounds, "Metallurg" is unable to host home games in their home town and is hosting their opponents in OKMK stadium within the Super League.

As part of the Uzbekistan Cup group stage, Metallurg will compete against "Neftchi", "Dostlik" Tashkent and Syrdarya FA. Of these competitors, only Syrdarya will take part in a home match with the FA, and in away matches with the other two opponents.

The demand for Fields in the Uzbekistan Cup is relatively mild.  which first league teams also try their luck. If the field of these teams meets the minimum requirement, then the Super League club can also be a guest. Otherwise the host team will either find another neutral stadium or travel to the opponent's field.

In view of this, "Metallurg" sought permission to hold the only home match within the group stage in Bekabad, and the league accepted the offer. On 12 April, Metallurg hosts Syrdarya FA in Bekabad. With this, the club will economy the amount of rent being paid for the OKMK area, to the add-on, the OKMK area will get rid of 1 additional load.

It is not known when "Metallurg" will return to Bekabad within the Super League. It all depends on the club itself. This issue will be reviewed after the stadium in Bekabad has been renovated to meet the league's requirements.
