As you know, due to the coronavirus pandemic, football matches and national championships have been suspended in Uzbekistan, as well as in many other countries.

Today, the information of the Republican Special Commission was published and organized by the Ministry of Health, Agency of Information and Mass Communications, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the Public Fund for Support and Development of Mass Media, allows professional football clubs to start their training in accordance with sanitary rules, norms and hygiene standards. reported to be allowed. According to the report, football matches can be resumed from June 5. UzPFL has previously developed plans to resume Super League matches from June 5. However, it took a few days for the plan to be officially approved. Due to the fact that the clubs have not yet fully started training, as well as the fact that the players need some time to recover before the restart of the championship, the date of the start of the championship of Uzbekistan will be announced. This decision of the Republican Special Commission was very good news for the football community. At the moment, the most important thing for us is that we can now officially resume training. If players who have been out of practice for a long time start playing without regaining their form, injuries will naturally increase. For this reason, the UzPFL will provide specific information on when the official meetings will continue.
