Officially! The number of participants in the Super League will be increased to 16

As of the 2025 season, there are 16 teams participating in the Super League. This brings the number of tour matches during the season to 30.

The league has struggled for the last four seasons to keep the number of Super League participants from changing contrary to sporting principles. It was planned to increase the number of teams starting in 2025, due to the growing number of clubs gaining an AFC license, the fields that allow the possibility of holding official meetings and the projectors in them are adjusted to the minimum requirements.

In the 2024 season of the Superleague, 14 teams compete for the title. In the end, the 1 last placed team bids farewell to the competition. In its place, the first two teams of the Pro League will win qualification to the Super League. Another 1 qualification will be played between the 12-13 Superleague and the 3-4 Proliga teams. In this, the 4th team of the Proliga will host the 12th team of the Superliga in the home game and the 3rd team of the Pro League will host the 13th team of the Superliga in the home game. The winners of both competitions will clarify the name of the 16th participant of the Superleague on a neutral field.

It can be seen from this that even a team that is content with the 12th place in the Super League can spend the 2025 season in the Pro League, while the fourth team of the Pro League, on the contrary, will be able to qualify for the Super League.
