Our young fencers demonstrated superiority at the Asian Championship

The Asian Youth Fencing Championships ended in Kuwait. On the final day of the tournament there were competitions in the team program. It is pleasant to note that our epee and saber fencers won gold medals.

Representatives of the national epee team Aziza Khamidova, Dilnaz Murzataeva, Sanam Nazarova and Bibimaryam Saparova defeated such teams as Jordan, Singapore, Chinese Taipei. And in the final our girls left no chance to epee fencers of Japan. Also, saber fencers Gulistan Perdebaeva, Fernanda Herrera, Samira Shokirova and Ayakuz Zhumamuratova decided the bouts against the teams of Singapore, Republic of Korea and Hong Kong in their favor.

Thus, our young fencers with 5 gold and 1 bronze medal took the first place in the team standings.
