PFL suspended one club from the competition

A working group established in January 2022 by the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan examined the fulfillment of requirements related to general activities, performance discipline, participation in competitions and licensing of football clubs that spent the 2021 season in the First League.

In the process, it turned out that the football club FC Jomboy did not fulfill a number of requirements of the regulations of competitions held by the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan in the 2021 season and "licensing regulations". This is reported by the press service of the PFL.

The football club Jomboy was excluded from the list of participants of the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan on the basis of the decision approved by the minutes of the meeting of the Executive Committee of the UzPFL dated February 24, 2022 No. 02, Due to the fact that its general activities are not organized in accordance with the established procedure, documentation is not maintained, there is no office for organizing the activities of the club, salaries are not paid to football players and coaches, accounting is not maintained, has no sources of funding, is not funded in accordance with the established procedure in 2021.

The football club Jomboy is recommended to take part in the tournament of the 2nd League of the Samarkand region due to the exclusion from the number of participants of the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan.
