Uzbek wrestler struggled with Minghu Liu from China and celebrated his one of the biggest individual win of his Olympic career with a 10-2 score.
However, Abdullaev was stopped by Zavur Uguev in the quarterfinals as the 26-year-old Russian used more late theatrics to defeat Uzbekistan's Gulomjon Abdullaev, 6-6 on criteria.
