Priority tasks in the field of sports education were discussed

The staff of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport is implementing measures within the framework of implementation of the resolution of the head of the state “On measures to further improve the quality of formation of the reserve of athletes in Olympic and Paralympic sports by radically improving the system of sports education”.

At the meeting of the Supervisory Board on improvement of personnel potential and development of scientific activity in the field of physical culture and sport, chaired by Minister of Sport Adham Ikramov, the work carried out in 2024 was analyzed. The issues of strengthening international cooperation, introduction of advanced projects in the field of sports education implemented in developed countries of Asia, Europe and America, as well as development of material and technical base were considered. Reports of responsible persons were heard, priority tasks were defined.

The Minister of Sport accompanied by the Rector of the University, Professor R. Matkarimov and responsible persons got acquainted with the material and technical base of the university, construction carried out on the territory of the educational institution, new sports facilities, as well as the activities of the Simulation Center for winter sports and Office-Registrar Service.
