Rumours. Uzbekistan to play a friendly game with Kazakhstan after a 13-year break

If the negotiations between the sides reach the agreement, Vadim Abramov's side will welcome Kazakhstan to Tashkent for a friendly match.

This friendly game may take place at the Pakhtakor Stadium in March 2020 ahead of Uzbekistan's Asian Qualifiers fixture against Yemen.

This Thursday, Uzbekistan lost vital points in Saudi Arabia clash as the visitors twice came from a goal to defeat the White Wolves 3-2 in Group D of the Asian Qualifiers.

An Uzbekistan win over Palestine on Tuesday will see the Central Asians head into 2020 as group leaders, as Saudi Arabia are not in action.
