During the first day of the Asian Boxing Championship in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, two of Uzbeks fought. In the men's weight category of -60 kg Abdumalik Khalakov outboxed Walter Sarnoi of Laos, as -75 kg Saidjamshid Jafarov defeated the representative of Afghanistan Sulaiman and advanced to the next stage. Reigning Asian champions Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov, Nodirjon Mirzakhmedov and other boxers will take part in today's session.
