The final tournament of the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup will be hosted by Indonesia.

The AFC Executive Committee approved several important decisions. 

1. The final tournament of the Futsal Asian Cup 2026 will be hosted by Indonesia. 

2. In AFC Futsal competitions among national teams in the draw will take into account FIFA ranking, not the results of the previous Asian Cup, as now. 

3. The 17-year-old Asian Cup will now be held annually, with the 2026 tournament taking place from May 14 to 31, 2026, and the qualifying tournament from November 22 to 30, 2025.

4. As Qatar will host the 17-year-old World Cup for five years, if necessary, the AFC's ninth trip will be awarded to the best team from among the third-placed teams in their groups (there will be no such need in 2025, as Qatar did not qualify for the final tournament of the Asian Cup).

4. For AFC tournament draws where it is not possible to apply the relevant FIFA ranking, the ranking of teams in the last three tournaments (rather than the most recent one, as is currently the case) will be used for seeding. The new principle will apply from 2025 onwards.
