The Football Association of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Uzbekistan amputee national team, which successfully performed at the World Cup in Turkey. It was attended by the leadership of Ufa, representatives of the Ministry of Sports Development, as well as representatives of the media.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Shakhrullo Mahmudov focused on the results of the team at the World Cup, especially noting that during the tournament our team beat such teams as Colombia, Italy, Spain. Avaz Karimov, adviser to the Minister of Sports Development, also congratulated the players, noting that the team's performance is worthy of praise.

Confidence was expressed that our team will mark even better results at the next competitions. In addition, it was reported that Ufa will provide an opportunity to study for free at coaching courses for representatives of the national team who want to continue their career as coaches. To watch matches in the framework of major competitions held in our country, team members will be allocated special seats and experience exchange with other national teams will be established.

In turn, on behalf of the team, the head coach of the national team Rustam Gostunov expressed his opinion and thanked for the warm congratulations. Following the meeting, 3 honorary members of the Uzbekistan national football team were awarded a badge “For contribution to the development of Uzbek football". At the end of the event, all members of the national team were awarded the Ufa badge and cash prizes.
