According to the AFU press service, the South Asian Football Federation Championship will be held in the Maldives from October 1 to October 16 this year. Uzbek referees Akhrol Riskullaev and Husniddin Shodmonov will work there.

The opening match of the tournament was held with the participation of the national teams of Nepal and Maldives entrusted to Akhrol Riskullaev. He was assisted by Husniddin Shodmonov and Farkhod Kuralov from Tajikistan.
