Tokyo 2020 dreams on the line on final day of Round 2
With the all three groups going down to the wire, the-AFC.com looks at the state of play in Mandalay, Tashkent and Doha, ahead of what promises to be a drama-filled Matchday Three.
Group C
In contention: Vietnam, Uzbekistan
Eliminated: Hong Kong, Jordan
Fixtures: Vietnam v Jordan, Hong Kong v Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan's Nilufar Kudratova-inspired late show in their 2-0 win over Jordan on Saturday kept the group hosts alive, but Vietnam remain very much in control of their own destiny with one match to play in Group B.
A win or draw for the Southeast Asians against Jordan at Transportation Institute Stadium will guarantee Mai Duc Chung's side's place in the third round, but a loss to the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup hosts could open the door for Uzbekistan.
Should Jordan beat Vietnam, Uzbekistan would require a win against Hong Kong at Lokomotiv Stadium to leapfrog them into first place, with Kudratova's brace against Al Nashmiyat possibly proving to be a crucial goal-difference boost.
