"Tsaghkadzor Open": the tournament in which chess players from Uzbekistan are successfully participating has reached its peak
The Armenian Chess Academy is holding a competition in cooperation with the Chess Academy Club. The international tournament called "Tsaghkadzor Open" has reached its climax. It is noteworthy that a number of our representatives participated in this tournament and recorded high results. The tournament, which is divided into "A" and "B" groups, is expected to be attended by chess players with a rating of more than 2000. In addition, chess players who do not have 2000 points can participate in group "A" for an additional fee.

Sadullo Azizov, the only Uzbek chess player participating in "A" group, occupies the 41st place with 4 points after 8 rounds.
India's Venkataraman Karthik is leading in this group with 6.5 points.
A situation has arisen in group "B" that pleases us. The fact is that Aram Kasparov from Uzbekistan is the leader of this group with 7 points according to the results of 8 rounds. Fortunately, our compatriot Rauf Kasimov took the second place (6.5).
In addition, Asilbek Abdulazizov, who scored 5.5 points, is 19th, and Temur Shavkatov, who scored the same number of points, is in 21st place. Also, Muhammadsalih Rahmatullaev with 5 points, 34, Bekzod Jumaboev with 3 points, 97, and Asadbek Abdulazizov, with 2 points, were on the 120th places.
Our 8-year-old young chess player Asmina Abdulazizova occupies the 123rd place with 2 points.
It should be noted that tomorrow the decisive last round of this tournament will start at 11:30 Tashkent time.
